Transformation starts from the inside out. To innervate is to stimulate from within in order to transform outward.
At Innervate2Educate Consulting, I believe in stimulating our hearts, minds, and spirits to learn more about who we were, who we are, and who we want to be as educators and as professionals. By looking deeply within ourselves, examining how we interact with one another across multiple selves, and understanding our connectedness to one another, we can increase our individual and collective capacity to humanize education and the world from the inside out. If we can learn to innervate and develop more expansive mental models, then we can better and more equitably serve those around us and truly transform all systems with a reinvigorated commitment to belonging and dignity for all.

The mission of INNERVATE2EDUCATE is to deliver profound learning experiences that stimulate the hearts, minds, and spirits of educators, professionals, and leaders to achieve belonging and dignity for all.

At Your Service
I am grateful for 25 years in PK-12 public education starting as a French and Spanish teacher and culminating as a Chief Equity Officer. Regardless of the role, my love of humanity is unwavering and I have a longstanding passion for ensuring that every individual is able to live authentically as fully human, without ever feeling less than. I believe in our individual and collective capacity to create a more just and inclusive world by being willing to look within ourselves. My research focuses on the intersection of vulnerability, human interconnectedness, and cross-racial relationships. I hold a doctorate in Adult, Professional, and Community Education and I find much joy in working with adults in any organization to uplift our shared humanity.

Profound Learning Experiences (PLX)
A different kind of PL...Profound Learning
In education and in the workplace, we have access to professional development and professional learning that increases our knowledge and skills so we can be better at what we do. This new kind of PL, profound learning, goes deeper than equipping educators and professionals with the tools needed to be effective in their role. The profound learning experience, PLX, encourages individuals to be more reflective and introspective about what we each bring to the organization by way of our individual and unique lived experiences and how such experiences both impact and are impacted by our relationships and connections. The PLX melds the personal and the professional in a holistic and strength-based approach toward advancing equity in our schools or in any organization. By illuminating both the personal as well as the professional aspects of our identities, we can revitalize the human element within the professional spaces that we navigate every day.
When we make the decision to innervate2educate, we create the needed grace and space to reaffirm our individual commitment to ourselves and ultimately to each other. By collectively humanizing education and the world in this way from the inside out, everyone benefits...especially those with whom we work and who we serve.
